In 1996, Itree was formed to develop and support solutions for transport authorities that would improve safety, security, environmental protection and economic efficiency of national transport assets. Three people started in a small office at the University of Wollongong and with each new project, Itree developed the capability to implement system of national significance & strategic importance to its customers.

Itree experienced organic growth to become a multi-million dollar business with a large team of professionals located in offices around Australia & New Zealand. It now singularly specialises in compliance and enforcement solutions for regulators. Since our humble beginnings, hundreds of major business critical systems & enhancement projects have been delivered successfully to clients.

Commencing in 2008, Itree re-examined how business systems for regulators could be developed more strategically. Itree embarked on an extensive research and development exercise to design, build & establish a truly unique and powerful suite of turnkey solutions to the core business systems of a regulator.

These solutions (known as RegulationWorks) are being implemented for regulators in the Asia Pacific region who are seeking to modernise their business systems to more cost effective, maintainable and scalable solutions that are suited to changing regulatory environments.
